God again helps & delivers His people in an impossible situation during their journey of deliverance towards a great promise & hope He had in store. Encouragement through the truth & light of the Word focusing on the battle at Yareach (Jericho) where God moved obstacles in the way both through the people & physical barriers and also supernatural forces.

Self-help, religions and their rites & relics, “happy” drugs, “truther” movements, nor any other alternative can satisfy. Only God’s way through His Son is able to provide the good bread that brings healing and true wholeness.Yashua said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6Do not work for food that perishes, but for food that endures [and leads] to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you; for God the Father has authorized Him andput His seal on Him. The one who comes to Me will never be hungry, and the one who believes in Me [as Savior] will never be thirsty [for that one will be sustained spiritually]. John 6:35

A widow in the middle of a famine with no help and a son to take care of finds grace by the God who sees all things. It can feel really lonely in the midst of the troubles but God provided for the widow in her despair and can help any who are feeling likewise. Reference: 1 Kings 17; Psalm 94:19
