Good Morning to all the Podpoppers out there! I’m your host Ginni Saraswati and it’s my pleasure to bring to you a new week of Ginni Media Pop Pops, your daily dose of podcasting news, hacks and advice.

Unfortunately that also means that today is Monday and we’re all dragging ourselves out of bed, the coffee machine is brewing, the hydrating eye patches are out of the fridge… Or maybe you’re still working from home and just have to sit at your desk in your dressing gown.

Whatever the case is, here is your PodTip to help time go a little faster on Mondays? Throw a clock!

Yeah… No… Of course that isn’t todays tip, but it might help with stress relief? 

Here is a real tip for you, and for our second ever PodTip, it’s our second most common piece of advise. Record with headphones! (your guest too)

While it’s possible to record a podcast episode without headphones, you’ll probably catch a lot of audio feedback. 

If possible, have everyone wear headphones so you don’t have to waste precious editing hours cleaning it up.

While a set of earbud headphones will do, we recommend ones that fully cover the ears.
