This is a very rare episode because Carrie does something very out of character for herself: She puts others' feelings before her own. Now, of course, that doesn't refer to Samantha, but who says that skank deserves love and respect anyway? Charlotte, instead of doing any type of self-work or learning to feel okay being without a man, immerses herself in a world of affirmations and female-driven MLMs. Miranda meets Steve's mom (who is kind of fabulous even though the actress DID give birth to Ben Stiller) and Samantha proves that at the end of the day, she IS just a girl, wanting so badly to believe a man even though we know deep down he is going to hurt us again.
