This week we report from a commemoration event on Reigate Hill last Wednesday. It marked the 80th anniversary of the loss of nine lives of US Air Force crew who died when their B17 plane crashed there on the afternoon of 19th March 1945. A poignant event in which we remembered not just that crew but the loss of all other air crew who died in the Surrey Hills during the Second World War.
