An Interview with Hypnotist Tiffany Downing

Season 1, Ep. 6

Welcome listeners! Lets all join in as Frank undergoes a "live," hypnosis session! Tiffany Downing, certified Hypnotist and owner of The Path Less Taken Hypnosis joins us and explains the process and tries to help clear up some of the mysteries surrounding hypnosis and how it can help a person unlock things within them and strengthen what is already there!

Why in the world is this on a paranormal show? Because it's AWESOME! The process, effects, and potential benefits are all what some may consider parascience or pseudo-science to downright hogwash, but if it DOES work for you, what can it help with? Stress? Fatigue? Creativity? Can it help make you more sensitive to paranormal events? Relieve past lives?

Guess you're going to have to listen in and see for yourself what Tiffany has to say about it! You can visit Tiffany and book appointments online by visiting https://pathlesstakenhypnosis.com

Also, please note during this session, there are a couple of pro-longed moments of quiet as we allow Frank time to process events and work through the directions he is receiving.

  • Visiting Wood Island

    36:39||Season 2
    We began Season 2 by interviewing bestselling author JD Barker and spoke with him regarding his upcoming novel (now released) "Something I keep Upstairs." We learned this small island located off the coast of Kittery Maine has a tragic past... having been used as a quarantine zone for those affected with Yellow Fever in the late 1800's and early 1900s. It was also the site of a water rescue station. Why a rescue station? Because those waters are notoriously dangerous and have caused many lives to be lost throughout the last century. Local rumors are plentiful about the hauntings that occur on the isle. It was this history and legends which spurred JD to write his newest novel as he routinely saw the island during his morning runs.As a bonus after the interview, JD arranged to have Paranormal Patrol attend his book signing party on the island! Yes, Jenny, Frank, Brad, and Iakona had the chance to step foot on this isle and do some investigating themselves during the book release party!!While we were unable to spend the night, we WILL be going back to spend at least a night as even in that short time we had there, we were able to catch some possible activity!So, for our season finale, enjoy our tale of our trip to Wood Island in Kittery Maine!You may have noticed some changes to the people on the microphone, we have some changes we are trying out to maximize listener entertainment and to enable us to generate more content for you so please bear with us as we fine tune our team and our episodes!
  • 8. Kansas State Penitentiary

    36:03||Season 2, Ep. 8
    Join Frank, Brad, Iakona & Nancy (Jenn investigated this location on a different night) as they experience the strange and paranormal events of the famous "Kansas State Penn".Located in Lansing Kansas that dates back to the mid 19th century. The Kansas Constitution authorized the prison in 1859. The land was purchased in 1861, and construction began in 1864, using prison labor. Despite delays due to the Civil War, the main building was completed in 1867, and the facility began accepting prisoners in July 1868.The prison housed numerous infamous individuals, including figures like Emmet Dalton (of the Dalton Gang), Perry Smith and Richard Hickok (Subject in "Cold Blood"), and Harvey Bailey (cohort of Machine Gun Kelly). The prison experienced it's share of riots, escapes, including a notable one in 1933 during a baseball game where Wilbur Undersell kidnapped the warden. Iconic musicians like Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash performed at the facility in the early 1970's.The Lansing Prison stands as a significant historical landmark and has deep roots of haunted and paranormal activity. Our team experienced EVP's and an entity with enough energy to touch lift Brad's hat off of his and thrown to the ground! It was one of our more intense & wild investigation's.

  • 4. A Return to Sallie House

    57:38||Season 2, Ep. 4
    Greetings listeners! I did not get this uploaded on time last night and that is all my fault! Dealing with life things I forgot to schedule this drop. I am totally sorry!That being said, the team returns to the Sallie house in Atchison Kansas. This time bringing along guest investigator Taylor and minus everyone's favorite transplant from Hawaii to the Mid-West - Iakona. Initially we covered Sallie and we talked about individual experiences from before we were a team, this time, the team goes in as one!The events start off pretty quickly at the Sallie house. Frank went in as a skeptic and left as a convert! Does Sallie live up to its reputation? Was Sallie real? What about the doctor? For those that are not familiar with the lore:The Sallie house was built sometime in the late 1800's by Irish Immigrants in Atchison Kansas. Lore says a town doctor lived in that residence and, at some point, a mother brought her ailing child to the doctor's residence / office. The doctor determined the cause of the young child's suffering to be appendicitis which required immediate surgery and began the surgery in the home prior to anesthesia taking effect (some versions say no anesthesia was administered). The young girl would die during the surgery in the home and it is this spirits which is thought to haunt to home today.Made famous in the 90's with television coverage, the then residents, Tony and Deb Pickman experienced objects moving about up to Tony Pickman experiencing scratches on his back. The house is no longer a residence and is a popular spot for paranormal investigators to visit and has been the subject of many shows and podcasts.As always, be aware DISCLAIMER: This show may contain adult language, themes, and situations which may not be suitable for all audiences.
  • 3. Return to McInteer Villa

    52:58||Season 2, Ep. 3
    Again, we apologize for the delay. We had an audio issue with the release we intended for last night, we are working to try to make it better. In the meanwhile, we moved ahead in the release queue and are dropping our return to McInteer Villa in Atchison Kansas.If you will remember in season I, we went there with tour and did not have much luck. Now, in season 2, we once again met up with L&M Paranormal to investigate this fabulous location This time however it was just us. No extra ambient noises, no excessive talking or walking about. Just our two teams and a wild night.ALSO!!!! We bring back Tiffany Downing (https://pathlesstakenhypnosis.com) to conduct an experiment! In the lounge are of the home she performs a group hypnosis session in an effort to open up our minds to being more accepting and successful at connecting with spirits! Does it work? I would say, from a personal note, it worked with wild success. Since that night I personally have experienced an increase in sensitivity. In two other investigations I even heard disembodied voices which were later confirmed with audio recording! Let me tell you, I have not been the only one. To be sure though, Tiffany has agreed to try that same experiment in another location.Anyway, sit back, enjoy our return to McInteer and stop by L&M and Tiffany's instagram and websites! Also, be on the lookout for the video on YouTube @HauntedOriginsParanormalPatrol

    43:34||Season 2, Ep. 1
    Well hell, we are back for season two! Thank you all for being so patient with us but we are back and excited to have this season! Thank you for the interest, thank you for the messages asking when we were returning, and thank you for being part of the Patrol!We kick this season off with an interview with NY Times Bestselling Author J.D. Barker!!!! If you have heard of him before, it may be from his first novel, "Forsaken," which was received with high regard and even attracted the family of the great Bram Stoker to work with J.D. to create "Dracul," the prequel to Dracula written from the notes of the great Bram Stoker. Or, you may have heard of him because of his collaborative works with James Patterson, or his other stand alone novels, or maybe it was from the hype of his books in process of becoming movies!Yes, there is a lot about this surprisingly humble and social author to discover! This time, we discuss his newest novel due to release on May 13th, 2025, "Something I Keep Upstairs," based on an actual location and haunted lore of the place. What's more, J.D. Barker is hosting a contest for listeners to have a chance at winning an overnight stay on the island with three friends! Details here https://woobox.com/vcevs2 and please note, this is an offer outside of Paranormal Patrol Podcast of which we have no control.Now, does staying overnight on an isolated island with a haunted house and a pretty grim history sound appealing to you? Check out that link or go to https://jdbarker.com/ for more info! Please remember, this is an isolated island in New Hampshire you can only reach by ferry... that already sounds like the start of a horror movie right? "Hey, I won this contest to travel to an isolated island and spend the night..." yeap, so enter and win at your own discretion! Again, we cannot stress it enough, this is not our contest! You wanna go to an isolated island for a night of potential fun (torment for others) that's on you... I know we do. But, fair warning, being from an island myself, weather, tides, seasons, etc. all play into whether that ferry can make it to the island so... be warned. Getting there and getting back may or may not be easy... and let's be real... we want you back in one piece... we need our Patrol Family in one piece!Again, thank you for sticking with us and we hope you enjoy our opening episode for Season 2!Oh, before I forget, we are trying to answer the demand for video episodes, so you can watch Brad and I talk with J.D. on our YouTube channel! https://youtu.be/1B5EMNeI3tk
