On Sunday Steve continued to unpack our vision, looking at some of our hallmarks and considering what it looks like to be a community that is dependent on God and that seeks to learn in authentic relationship. 

On the first of our Vision Sundays, Steve Jones talked about our belief that we are made for more, and he called us to see ourselves as a sanctuary: a place of life, a place of refuge and a place of commission.

Paul ends his letter by encouraging the Colossians to be wise in how they use their time, living good lives that glorify God and speaking words that point people to Jesus. In this talk, Michelle considers how we can be effective witnesses for Jesus.  

Since we have been united with Christ in his death and resurrection, we have a new hope! In this talk, Steve Jones considers what it means to be raised with Christ, and how we can live now as transformed people.  

Paul addresses some of the challenges his readers are facing, helping them to understand how to overcome them. In this talk, Jenny considers what similar temptations we may face today, and how the death and resurrection of Jesus changes everything.  

Having considered the ministry of Jesus, Paul now reflects on his own ministry. In this talk, Simon considers what it looks like to participate in the work of Christ, and to experience his power working through us.  

Colossians begins with a dizzying depiction of Jesus Christ. He is the image of the invisible God, the author of creation, and the one who will restore all things! In the first week of our new series, Ezzy helps us consider the supremacy of Christ and the glory of the gospel.  

God has an ambitious plan to draw people from every nation into his family. In this talk we consider God’s heart for inviting those ‘beyond’ to come to the feast, and we learn how we can play our part in his mission.
