Between 9,000 and 11,000 years ago, man and sheep joined forces. Together they have conquered the world, and today they contribute more than you think! Ovinology tells the story of sheep through a mix of history, philosophy, religion, science, and legend.
Madeline Rosenberg raises a variety of heritage wool breeds and practices traditional methods of fiber arts. She has won several awards for her fleeces, spinning, and livestock. In addition to hosting Ovinology, Madeline advocates sustainability and holistic farm management through hands-on educational experiences both on and off the farm. She has taught at fiber festivals, to immigrants and refugees, religious groups, on television, and at historic reenactments. For more info visit ballyhoofiberemporium.com
