I hadn't met Doni before spending Saturday in his company. We went for a long hilly run on a route which he called his 'specific preparation' for Langdale Horseshoe (having had enough of having 'training' throughout his working life) before sitting down to a cuppa and a chat. We were joined by his dog Rusty for the run and you might hear him being petted during the episode (Rusty not Doni)
