Episode 51 - Middle Below

Season 5, Ep. 51
Middle Below is an audio drama about ghosts, cats, and the slightly odd people who look after them.' There is a world that runs parallel to ours, a world filled with ghosts. They call it 'The Below.’ Middle:Below is the story of a disgruntled traveler, a frustrated writer, a slightly nervous ghost and a very enigmatic cat. Whatever adventures await them, we can be certain, that bad things will happen.

I first came across David Devereux’s writing and acting in the fantastic Tin Can Audio which pulls you right in from the start. When I heard about the new show Middle Below I was immediately interested and excited, and the first season has been everything I hoped for and more. Well written, extremely well acted, funny, happy, sad and even scary at times. I was over the moon to get the chance to make this crossover happen and to bring out worlds together. If you haven’t listened to Middle Below yet, you really should.

This episode was co-written by David Devereux and Alex C. Telander.

The part of Jake is performed by Chris Fletcher.

The part of Taylor is performed by David Devereux.

The part of Gil is performed by David Pellow.

And the part of Sans the cat is performed by Megan “Bucky” Buchanan.

Sound design was done by David Devereux, with editing and production by Hail and Well Met Podcasts. Check out more of their great work at hailandwellmetpodcasts.com.
