Oral History Off the Record

Pilot

Season 1, Ep. 1

Hosts Cassandra Marsillo and Hana Sherafati Zanganeh interview Anna Sheftel and Stacey Zembrzycki, who started the Kitchen Table Collective (KTC) in 2023. KTC is an online network that meets virtually eight times a year to discuss members’ work, developments in the field of oral history, and how we are collectively navigating the politics of our institutions, communities, and everyday lives. It was created, in part, to celebrate a decade of Sheftel and Zembrzycki’s book Oral History Off the Record, which this podcast is named for! Members of KTC include scholars, artists, activists, and independent practitioners, all of whom are leaders in the work they are doing around the world.
