2. On: The Sacred Pause
41:04||Season 2, Ep. 2So.... We are BACK with our first proper episode for Season 2, and this one is a beauty...Today, supported by a song that moved both Tessa and I to tears, we are discussing what it feels like to stand on the edge of a brand new chapter of life, without any idea of where it will go, and to take that brave step forwards. We discuss the process of shedding and shifting identities, both when we changed careers, and perhaps more meaningfully when the lens through which we both saw the world took a sharp turn and left us seeing the world through completely new eyes. We talk about the power of listening to the quiet whispers within and giving them space to speak. We talk about forgiving ourselves for some of the more rogue life decisions that previous versions of us took. But more of all... we talk about how this one, beautiful song had the power to crack us both open and give us the courage to move forward into the unknown. 1. On: What this podcast is all about
09:50||Season 2, Ep. 1We're BACK with Season 2 of On Time (you didn't think we'd give up after 6 episodes did you?!). Well, we took some of the feedback from Season 1 (a lot of which made us very misty eyed..THANK YOU) and decided that it was probably about time that we gave you a little context for what we're trying to do with this labour of love. So... in today's episode.. we are here to share with you our intention, our hope and our big, fat, juicy WHY behind this podcast. Our hope is that this episode helps you see the real reason why this is so important to us, and why we are so dedicated to sharing it all with you. Enjoy,L & T
6. On Approval
34:30||Season 1, Ep. 6In today's episode (one of the first episodes we recorded back in October 2022) we are talking all about what it means to be approved of, and how the desire for approval can lead our lives in directions which are potentially a far cry from what the deepest part of us really wants. We talk about how our lives, prior to making the leap to move to Mexico City, were primarily driven by this deep desire to be 'liked' and how far that lead us down some pretty weird and wonderful paths away from ourselves.Tessa also shares about her awful date, and Lucy is still recovering from a plant medicine ceremony that blew her brains out.If you're a secret, or not so secret, people pleaser... this one is for you...L & T x
5. On Aloneness and Loneliness
37:35||Season 1, Ep. 5Today we are talking about the concepts of aloneness vs. loneliness, and whether it is in fact possible to experience one without the other. It's a deeply personal episode where we explore the periods of our lives where we both felt profoundly lonely and how, despite searching for community and connection through that loneliness, the real medicine actually came from intentional periods of aloneness. This episode is for you if you're in a period of feeling disconnected or unsure of where you are going on your journey, perhaps you feel lonely despite being surrounded by others, or perhaps it feels more like a yearning for aloneness but you're battling with the fear of what that could mean for you. We loved recording this, it felt like such a powerful and needed conversation to be having and we really hope, despite the slightly sub par audio, that it provides the same salve for you as it did for both of us.
