On The Whistle
The Changing Face Of African Leadership
Now that the dust has settled on the recent CAF Congress in Cairo we speak with the chair of the South African Football Journalists' Association (SAFJA) and host of the newly minted podcast African Football Connect Velile Mnyandu about some of the big headlines from the event. While CAF President Patrice Motsepe was voted in unopposed, African football legend Samuel Eto'o managed to break into the executive committee after his ban was overturned by CAS, and there was a real win for Arab solidarity as countries from north managed to get strong representation on various committees.
Host: Zayn Nabbi
Guest: Velile Mnyandu (SAFJA chair)
