β€’

On this week's "Old Skool New Skool Comedy" podcast, Christy gets to catch up with her longtime friend stand up comedian/creator/producer of Showtime's hit series "Funny Women of a Certain Age", Carole Montgomery. We discuss aging in the industry and how older comics were being forgotten in the clubs which led her to create her show for Showtime. In 2019, it was the highest rated show Showtime had which opened doors for her to do 2 more specials for them. Tune in to hear her incredible story of paving the way for us "Funny Women of a Certain Age" to be relevant again.
