The Edmonton Oilers Cap Challenges | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk June 5

Season 1, Ep. 198

It has been a busy few days across the NHL with the Stanely Cup finals beginning on Saturday night, the Anaheim Ducks and Columbus Blue Jackets finding new coaches and Cole Caufield signing a new ticket in Montreal. Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horobin will chat about all of those topics ahead of the Edmonton Oilers talk on today's show.

Gary Bettman spoke during the intermission of game one versus the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers. He addressed the rumours about the salary cap going up and suggested that it may go up $1 million this summer. If it was to go up only a million, how much would it change the Oilers off-season plans?

Continuing on the grading train, Dylan Holloway is next up to hear what Tyler and Liam thought of him. Let the guys know how you would grade Holloway this season. You can head over to the Oilersnation YouTube channel and leave your comments in the live chat.

  • 376. Live from LA for Game 3 of Oilers versus Kings

    01:19:11
The Edmonton Oilers and Los Angeles Kings are tied up at one piece with game three on the horizon. The Kings took game two in what was a disappointing game for the Oilers. Edmonton spotted LA a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes and, despite forcing the game to overtime, the Kings came away with a 5-4 victory. How will the Oilers change things tonight? Last game, it was the Adrien Kempe-Anze Kopitar-Quinton Byfied trio that dominated the Oilers. They scored three of the five goals, including the overtime winner. A major key to victory is finding a way to shutdown that trio. Additionally, will the Oilers stars show up line in game three? The video game mode aspect of Connor McDavid's game showed up on Monday but couldn't find that same groove on Wednesday.Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin are boots on the ground in Los Angeles for game three.
