I met with Mark at The Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen and he came armed with a bag of tunes containing 7 fantastic records which have sound tracked his life to date and we go in on that journey discussing growing up in and around London and how it shaped his creative path. We cover a lot of ground in this episode, chatting about his upbringing in and out of the care system, living in squats, discovering punk and then being in the thick of it and through the New Romantic club scene through to the evolution of house music and then the impact of having a global smash hit and being on the cover of smash hits!! and so so much more.
