Ports are vital for delivering Scotland's ambitions in offshore wind. All Scottish ports, big and small, can play important roles.
Many historic ports in Scotland are adapting and upgrading to meet the demands of the offshore wind industry. The larger ports are starting the shift from oil and gas to offshore wind, with some of the smaller facilities developing niches in certain services.
Our guests in this first episode are Stuart Wallace, CEO of Forth Ports Group, and Captain Tom Hutchison, CEO of Montrose Port Authority.
We discuss the opportunities available for offshore wind in Scotland, the challenges being overcome, and the progress being made.
