The Book of Genesis - Martin Reyna
Reflection Questions:
- Joseph’s testing awakens the brothers’ buried guilt about their sin. How does conviction function as a sign of God’s mercy rather than His rejection? What practices help us respond rightly to conviction instead of resisting it?
- In Joseph’s “death” in ch 37, we saw a foreshadow of Jesus’ death - blameless, loved by his father but despised by his brothers, sold for silver, delivered into the pit. What New Covenant foreshadowing do we see in the life of Joseph after his “resurrection and ascension”? As the body of Christ, what part do we play in this Eucatastrophe?
