The Book of Genesis - Jenny Sneller
Reflection Questions:
- Joseph had to rely on dreams and visions for God to speak to him, and although we have God’s Word available to us all the time, we often undervalue it. In what ways do we still try to rely on a modern day version of dreams and visions rather than the Bible when we’re seeking God? Do you go to God’s word for wisdom and guidance or are there other places you go first?
- Just like Pharaoh, our world still has a wisdom crisis. As we’ve gone through Ephesians on Sunday mornings, we’ve been reminded that God’s chosen entity to bring wisdom to the world is through the church. What can we learn through Joseph’s life about how we (personally and as the Church) can prepare and position ourselves to be this wisdom to the world?
