Not so bad at planning, terrible at Union
EPISODE 1, Why are architects workers not unionized?
NOT SO BAD AT PLANNING, TERRIBLE AT UNION
A podcast on Swiss architecture, workers, and the struggle to organise
Long hours, low salaries, unpaid overtime, and discrimination: this podcast examines the working culture of architecture in Switzerland and asks why architect workers are not organised. Through anonymised testimonies and interviews with architect workers, union secretaries and members of various organisations, the series traces existing initiatives and structures that defend workers, expose malpractice and abuse, and imagine more sustainable ways to practice.
Please continue complain and start to organise, and don’t hesitate to write me if this resonates <3
