Gardeners' World 2024 Winter Special Recap: Ep 1
The first of the Gardeners' World 2024 Winter Specials! This week we join the wonderful Carol Klein at Forest Lodge Gardens in Somerset before heading over to Oswestry in Shropshire to enjoy an apple tree masterclass with Tom Adams, The Apple Man. Nick Bailey takes us to Bates Green Garden in Sussex and their Arlington Bluebell Walk, where we meet Emma Reece, head gardener. Ex-military man, Martin Jordan shows us his impressive Birdhouse Gourds on his allotment in Chepstow before we meet Emma Rabbitt, Annie Healy and Lorna Babb on their Dads Lane Allotments in Birmingham. Finally Adam Frost takes us to Borde Hill Gardens where we meet the garden's Head of Horticulture Harry Baldwin and learn a little about Plantsman Colonel Stevenson Clarke and his successors Andrewjohn & Eleni Stephenson Clarke and now Jay Goddard and Harry Stephenson Clarkel.
