Episode 018 - No Labels, No Limits - with Malcolm and Simone, Transformational Duo

Season 1, Ep. 18

Serial dating is something our next guest mastered on his way to finding his perfect match. Malcolm and Simone share their story of how they met and became a great duo, helping each other develop their character sheet and beginning the process of transformation together. From there, they created a non-profit, wrote an amazing book (originally written for their future children), and helped many others on their way to find their purpose and objective function.

"Most people just let life happen to them. And, whatever it is, it just hits them by chance. It happens to fall in their lap, is what they do, what they become, what they believe. And, what we're strong proponents of is: No, no, don't just accept what life throws at you. Don't just believe what you grew up hearing. Actually go and find what you believe and want." - Simone

"The core thing that I think people need to accept, that our society doesn't really get across to people, there are two major decisions that you get to make in life. They are yours, and you have ownership over the results of those two decisions. First is, what you believe. That can be anything from politics to religion, to the way you think people interact, to the value of friends. You get to choose all of those things. The second, is you get to choose who you are. You don't get to be somebody who gets mad and yells at someone. And then say, 'Oh, I have no control over that, that's just who I am.' You choose who you are." -Malcolm Learn more about Malcolm and Simone here: The Pragmatist's Guide to Life

We call them ordinary because we haven't heard about them in the media. Episode 64 - No Labels, No Limits podcast - with Joe Pettit, Professional Speaker and Nutrition Expert

Season 1, Ep. 64
It’s our honor today to interview Joe Pettit, a Professional Speaker, and a Nutrition Services Expert. He is quickly becoming one of the hottest speakers on resilience, producing results by strengthening your personal development, and leadership. He has an uncanny ability to engage, connect, and inspire audiences. He presents at state and national conferences, nonprofits, and schools. A blogger, entrepreneur, and motivation addict – he’s got an incredibly interesting story. Take a listen. Here are his instructions and advice for a smooth, daily flow, “How you set up your daily routine is how you will be able to conquer your mind, how you start your day and how you end your day. The first thing that I do when I wake up, I just say something that I'm grateful for, what, what is my mission for the day? And then immediately I go into listening to motivational videos. Now, I believe that a couple of things that cause the most friction in the morning is what we wear and what we eat. So, to eliminate this friction, at night I pick out my clothes and iron them. Then, I go ahead and cook and prepare my breakfast so that once I wake up in the morning, it's a smooth process. That is how I make sure the day is aligned.” His last bit of advice is, “Ultimately, I think there's one thing that we forget is that life is long and we need to be really patient, that things don't have to happen right away. But the number one message is to be aware of who you are and be okay with who you are.” Connect with Joe and learn more about his Garden here: - get your free ebook on Inspiring Leadership FB: Joe Pettit Instagram: Joe Pettit Inspires LinkedIn: Joe Pettit #cupofjoe #NLNLpodcast #speaker #leadership #beokaywithyou #inpsiration
