High School Musical (2006, 18:04) is Disney Channel's most successful original movie of all time and premiered 20 years ago this month. In honor of the anniversary listen to Ruby and her childhood friend Matthew talk about their nostalgic love of the movie and all things Disney Channel. They discuss how this was the definition of quintessential high school culture, memories it generated of them being in high school in the 2000s, and of course, there needed to be a discussion of the alleged Ashley v. Hilary drama to round it out.
P.S. If you'd like to poison your liver, take a drink every time either party says the word "correct".

Post the success of The Hangover, male friend group comedies were ruling the theaters and while this one may not be the first that comes to mind, it definitely would've been one of those movies you'd watch on cable during a lazy weekend home. Christian is a billionaire who meets graduating college student Anastasia and tries to negotiate initiating a dominant-submissive relationship with her while she'd prefer a traditional romance.
