In this episode of NHL Trade Talk the podcast, Brooke and Jim break down their winners and losers for NHL Trade Deadline week. Because deadline day was so slow, it's hard to designate a winner and loser on a day that normally offers a lot to discuss. We'll take a look at our favorite deals, and our least favorite team decisions and try to answer why the final day for teams to make trades was such a dud.

Mattias Ekholm went to the Edmonton Oilers for Tyson Barrie and picks, Patrick Kane officially became a New York Ranger, Toronto kept making moves and there are still plenty of names left on the table that could be dealt in over the course of the next 48-72 hours.

Timo Meier has been traded to New Jersey, Sam Lafferty, and Jake McCabe have gone to Toronto and Tanner Jeannot goes to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a deal that many are viewing as a pretty big overpay. Brooke and Jim will dissect all of these trades, including some others, and talk about what we expect to happen as the deadline nears.
