They break down the gameplay, story expectations, graphics, and whether Gears of War: E-Day has what it takes to bring the legendary franchise back to its roots.

Gears of War: E-Day is a third-person action game developed by The Coalition and published by Xbox Game Studios. Serving as a prequel to the original Gears of War, the game takes players back to Emergence Day, the terrifying moment when the Locust Horde launches its devastating invasion of the planet Sera. Set 14 years before the events of the original game, the story follows younger versions of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as they confront an overwhelming new enemy. As cities collapse and humanity faces the threat of extinction, the two soldiers must fight to survive while witnessing the beginning of a war that will change their world forever.
