All North Jersey residents fondly remember the WPIX Yule Log, when Channel 11 ran the image of a crackling fire for endless hours on Christmas. In tribute to this regional video tradition, we bring you the NEW JERSEY IS THE WORLD AUDIO YULE LOG!
Set to a background audio bed of a crackling fire, this is four and a half hours of New Jersey audio you can put on in the background of your holiday. Maybe you want to throw headphones in as you cook for weird cousins you barely know, or need to drift off to sleep after many hours of entertaining. We've got you covered - consisting of holiday wishes from past NJITW interviewees, comedy and music from artists who played our live shows in Asbury Park throughout the year, watch alongs to holiday classics, long stretches of audio grabbed from random places throughout the state, and SO MUCH MORE, this is a gift to you, our listeners for your holiday amusement.
This project was the brainchild of our one and only Mike D, who conceived it and then assembled all of this into a shockingly listenable four and a half hours.
