In this prophetic message, given by Geoff Brown from Chester, UK, who is part of the Lifelink Global leadership team, we are challenged to recognise that God is calling us to advance. Just as the tribes of ancient Israel changed formation in order to follow the Presence of God when it moved, God is calling us to adapt and follow him, even without knowing how things will turn out. The provision and the presence of God is on the move! Will you follow him into your destiny?

In a shorter episode than normal, this message was given in Queen's Park Loughborough, just before the church went on a "prayer-walk" through the town centre, to pray for and bless the town and region. As children of Abraham, it is through God's people that the blessing given to Abraham finds its way out to the world. When you pray, you become a conduit for blessing, and take part in the reclaiming of the world for God's kingdom!

If you have been "born again" through turning to Christ, you have God's "seed" within you. You carry God's irrepressible life within, which needs to be "sown" in the lives of others in order to produce godly "fruit". We believe, as New Creation Church, that the specific "seed" we carry is that of a pioneering spirit, something we have inherited from others who went before us, and who sowed godly seed within us, which we want to pass on.

The book of Revelation is written to encourage the Church to persevere, to trust, to watch for God’s deliverance, and to assure believers that God is in final control, whatever things look like. Even passages such as chapter 16, with "bowls of wrath" being poured out on the earth, is there to strengthen your trust in a God who will one day address evil and rescue his creation - with you in it - from what seeks to destroy and deface it. So rejoice, be ready, and be resilient - he is coming!

The Fear of the Lord is not confined to the Old Testament. Neither is it about terror or anxiety. Though often neglected or explained away, having a healthy fear of God will protect you from foolishness and cause you to grow in wisdom and knowledge. It is a deep reverential awe, an awareness of God's power and holiness, and of his loving but firm discipline. It will guide you in decisions and enhance your love and devotion to God.

In this series, taken from Exodus chapters 12 to 17, you will be challenged in how to live as a Christian who has been liberated from the "Egypt" of this corrupted world, into a true "hope that does not fade". A big part of this is to recognise that your present situation is temporary, and that your responsibility is to live as a "pilgrim", a traveller on a journey with God, not settling for where you currently are and what you have now, but looking ahead to the much greater future that God has in store.

If you are a follower of Jesus, you have a song of deliverance in your heart! Revelation chapter 15 introduces the "7 bowls of wrath" which will be poured out on the wickedness of the earth. However, it also depicts the redeemed and victorious people of God, standing beside a new "Red Sea", singing a joyful song in response to God's great deliverance. That is also your song, if you trust in the victory of Jesus on your behalf!

We have an extraordinary privilege as believers in Jesus. He has given us authority, as his Church, to confront and overcome all the forces of evil, and to see the Church built. When we faithfully proclaim Christ and declare what God’s will is for people, heaven itself will back us in a partnership, where Jesus builds his Church on the "rock" of us knowing and announcing who he is.

On Israel's journey from Egypt towards the Promised Land, recounted in Exodus chapters 12 to 17, they stopped in 7 places, each of which carries a lesson for us today. As Paul asserts in 1 Corinthians 10:11, their experiences serve as examples for our life as Christians in this present world. Each stopping place provides an encouragement which will help you have hope for your own journey towards the "promised land" of eternity with Christ.
