Action Surge Episode 41
Season 1, Ep. 41
•
We open with the important questions, like why Alex always walks in circles and how sock puppets somehow entered the chat. Do not worry, there are many voices of Doug Cockle to make up for it.
It is the first time we have filmed for a whole weekend in a while, and Harry talks about how much he prepped, and how much we actually explored. For the first time ever, we have left without tying up all the loose ends. They can figure it out for themselves, right?
We chat about the team finally getting a moment to breathe, how they interact when the pressure is off (spoilers, they drink), and, how much Harry hates fast travel.
Dolly and Aoife both chose chaos this week, and we break down her decision to stab straight through the middle instead of, well, literally anything else. Honestly, she just wishes they had kept the receipt.
We get intimate with I, and unpack exactly what Raidion saw with that Nat 20. There really are no secrets among friends.
Then it is story time with Doug Cockle. We talk patience, lore, and the perfect sprinkle of flakey salt that made Kelnys’ moment shine. He is such a unifying force, and it felt so good to learn more about him.
Finally, we talk about Raidion treating this episode like a bottomless brunch, and Alex treating us to the gun show. Because why not?

Action Surge Episode 65
47:45||Season 1, Ep. 65Alex fails his dexterity saving throw and the everyone immediately starts making penis jokes. This is starting to become a bit too normal around here. This action surge unpacks a lot of the, rather ridiculous behaviour, that the party engaged in whilst letting their hair down and getting their feet wet.Having reached the end of an arc, there’s a lot of reflecting and considerations for what comes next.Gnomes anyone? Harry digs into some of his thoughts and processes for introducing a gnome city into the narrative. And what about all the new lore we’ve picked up? What does it tell us about the gods? The totems? The very world itself? Whatever the answers, we all need to talk about the new cuddly party member!---Support us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/naturalsixJoin our Discord! https://discord.gg/HNV56DADnJFollow us on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/naturalsixFollow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/natural_six65. A thick canopy of bark and branch might obscure the way for some. For others it creates a path clearer than any road. Perhaps we all end up exactly where we’re mean to be. And what of rest? When waters boil and steam rises, do you let yourself soak in the stillness or prepare yourself for what awaits in the cold?---Support us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/naturalsixJoin our Discord! https://discord.gg/HNV56DADnJFollow us on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/naturalsixFollow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/natural_six64. Action Surge Episode 62
58:39||Season 1, Ep. 62After two sessions of non stop combat, it’s time to take a breather and unpack everything that’s happened.Harry, Ben and Alex dig into the emotional and mechanical depths of combat...by comparing it to football. Obviously.Harry unleashes a 60ft cone of combat mechanics upon the party, discussing breath weapons, spell slots, DOMF, and vials of super secret wasp juice. This combat had it all, baby.Even when Harry dashes off, everyone somehow stays on task and keeps talking about the battle. It’s almost scary how little nonsense and mischief they get up to. Is Ben ok????Finally, to wrap up all this serious D&D conversation, Aoife and Doug reckon with their joint ‘healer’ roles within the party, while Ben recalls an annoying fan. You know, important stuff.---Support us on Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/naturalsixJoin our Discord! https://discord.gg/HNV56DADnJFollow us on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/naturalsixFollow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/natural_sixFollow us on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@natural.sixLove lore?
