It's the Monday leading into the Oilers' Round 2 matchup versus the Vancouver Canucks, which meant the boys had plenty to talk about on the new episode of the Real Life Podcast. Starting off the podcast, the guys started the show by critiquing Tyler's fashion choices after he showed up to the podcast wearing a fresh pair of New Balances. That led to a larger conversation about how fashion trends have changed significantly depending on what era you were born. Changing gears, the guys dove into the rap beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake that kicked off over the last couple of weeks and how it went from talking about who's the greatest to trading barbs that are way over the line. Even though the series is still days away from starting, the back-and-forths have already begun on social media between two fanbases that can be spicy at the best of times. We're in Los Angeles for games 3 and 4 of the playoffs, and that meant the opportunity for a hotel room edition of the Real Life podcast. Starting off the podcast, the guys shared a lively recap of their shared experiences in Los Angeles over the last couple of days. As you'll hear, the podcast started off like a house on fire, and it didn't really slow down much from there. Changing gears, the guys talked about the J. Cole and Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar rap beef. While Wanye thinks this whole beef is fake news, Baggedmilk and Chalmers don't care as long as the music is good. According to Worldstar's Instagram, Drake will be dropping a new diss track at some point Thursday, and that news had the boys excited that the song will be a banger. Turning the podcast toward the Oilers, the guys recapped this three-game winning streak and how Edmonton is starting to play some really strong hockey at the best time of the year. Last night's win over the Vegas Golden Knights was an absolute demolition, and the team did it without their captain in the lineup. Finally, the guys wrapped up the Thursday episode with a discussion about whether or not Leon Draisaitl would be able to drive a team on his own without McDavid being there as his partner in crime.
