Ashlyn talks to us about her transition to the city and Philadelphia fans, how she got started in the sports media world , how she got the gig covering the Flyers, what it was like living in Florida watching the Lightning and Panthers, and what it’s like working with Scott Hartnell and Al Morganti. Going along she gives us her thoughts on the state of the team, Sam Ersson’s groin injury and the goalie carousel, Matvei Michkov, and we discuss the Flyers culture. Moving ahead she talks to us about what it’s like interviewing John Tortorella, some of her favorite people she’s interviewed, some people she’d love to interview, and her expectations for the Flyers the rest of the season.
