Bryony Kimmings is an award-winning writer and performer whose work spans television, film and groundbreaking live performance. Most recently, she adapted The Rapture into a five-part television drama starring Ruth Madeley. She also co-wrote, with Emma Thompson, the screenplay for the film Last Christmas, starring Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding. Widely regarded as one of the UK’s most original contemporary performers, Bryony creates multi-platform works that blend autobiography, social experimentation and performance art. Her acclaimed shows include I’m a Phoenix, Bitch, Credible Likeable Superstar Role Model and Fake It Till You Make It, all of which received widespread critical praise and multiple five-star reviews. Her latest production, Bog Witch, follows a critically acclaimed London run and is now touring venues across the UK and Ireland. Julie Peasgood is probably best known for having been a regular in no less than three soaps: Brookside, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks. She has a multi-faceted career as an accomplished actress, TV presenter and producer, award-winning author, voice-over artist and events host. Honoured by the Royal Television Society with their celebrated Television Personality of the Year Award, Julie’s acting career spans over fifty years of prestigious theatre and television, including five years with the Royal Shakespeare Company, TV serials such as Taggart, Casualty, The Survivors, September Song, Spender, Russell T Davies’ Years and Years and Doctors (playing Michael Fenton Stevens wife!). Dean Friedman is a US singer-songwriter best known in the UK for the hit singles “Ariel” (1977) and “Lucky Stars” (1978), a Top 40 duet with Denise Marsa. He has released an extensive catalogue of independently produced albums and EPs, retaining full creative control of his work, and has toured the UK regularly for decades, building a loyal audience. His songs have been widely broadcast on UK radio, particularly on BBC Radio 2, sustaining his profile beyond his chart years. Eleanor Morton is a Scottish stand-up, writer and actor whose latest Edinburgh Fringe show, Haunted House, received rave reviews and won a Terrier Award. She is widely recognised for her online sketch characters, including Craig the Tourguide and documentarian Suzanne Primate, which have earned her a substantial following and fans such as Patton Oswalt, Michael McKean and Taika Waititi. For radio, Eleanor co-wrote and performed The Rest of Us for BBC Radio 4 alongside Esyllt Sears and Mary Flanigan, and has appeared in the live panel show 8 Out of 10 Celts. She has also written for BBC Radio Ulster’s Lunchtime With Michael Fry. Her other writing credits include The News Quiz, The Now Show, Newsjack, Hypothetical and The Beano. She has also been a panellist and writer on Radio Scotland’s Breaking The News, and has appeared across BBC Radio 4 and Radio 4 Extra. A regular on the UK live circuit, she has supported acts including Josie Long, Tony Law, Frankie Boyle, Stewart Francis and Lost Voice Guy.
