My First Concert
Radio Legend Jack Daniels
Ep. 10
•
From 1982 to 1990, a radio station in the sleepy little town of Deadwood, SD was one of the top rock powerhouses in the country. This station and its line-up of amazing on-air personalities was one of the reasons I decided to give radio a shot. And it was all led by the morning show Jack and Tom. Here's my conversation with Jack Daniels.

14. Arcana Kings
01:04:24||Ep. 14From small towns in Canada comes some of the biggest rock music you'll hear. Arcana Kings first played the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in 2022 and have had fans buzzing ever since. Mixing together the raw power of true rock music with frontman Johnny McCuaig's proficiency on bagpipes, their sound feels like you're in an arena no matter where they play. You'll hear the story of how they came together and what pushes them to make every show feel unique. Plus get the story behind their brand new song "Soldier On".13. Brandon Jones
36:31||Ep. 13"Ride it until the wheels fall off". That's the motto Brandon Jones has decided to live by. And judging by his talent, personality, and dedication to doing the work, he's not going to be rolling on rims anytime soon.12. Bryan Loweree
39:02||Ep. 12That time I was talking with Bryan Loweree and totally forgot the point of my own podcast.11. Dead Marthas
49:49||Ep. 11When the band name is the least interesting part of this trio, you know the conversation is going to be off the hook. The Dead Marthas did not let me down.9. Chancey Williams
31:51||Ep. 9Talented, strong-willed, and genuine. Those traits could have led him to more than one Saddle Bronc Champion belt buckle, but his passion was making music. He made the right call and now it's starting to pay off. My conversation with Chancey Williams.8. David Graham
26:26||Ep. 8I first saw this guy on stage at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally making his guitar sound like a chicken in the middle of a "Ghost Riders in the Sky" solo. I have been hooked ever since. Andy and I talk with Nashville's David Graham.7. Nashville Recording Artist Daniel Donato
40:31||Ep. 7Over-the-top, slightly manic vibe? Cosmic Country? That means we can only be talking with Nashville recording artist Daniel Donato.6. Musician and Producer John Shaw
38:33||Ep. 6Finally, some country music! Andy and Houston talk with John Shaw, a Florence, Alabama native now residing and working in Nashville, TN.
