The films we discuss this time share a foreboding, impending world annihilation theme, however from differing sources. Can the alien invasion of Independence Day outmuscle Will Smith or outsmart Jeff (Err) Goldblum and can Bruce Willis and his band of rednecks defeat a giant space rock in Armageddon?

This episode the duo discuss square jaws and square haircuts fighting living fire, and a miniature marine fighting baddies inside the body of an unlikely hero, the films on offer this time are BACKDRAFT and INNERSPACE.

It's our Anniversary episode! A whole year of revisiting Myconic movies from our youth. In this episode we re-evaluate Marky Mark of the Funky Bunch fame, who brings his Swagger (in name and attitude) to the thrilling and intense movie - Shooter. In light of the sad passing of a Myconic Icon (our first Mycon) Carl Weathers, we take a look back on 2 classic Weathers films, Predator and Happy Gilmore. Showing his range from an elite paramilitary to retired ex-golf pro, Weathers exchanges his cammo for an argyle sweater and we get to enjoy him in all his splendour.
