Luna Marble: Spanish Rock Dreams in Manchester

Maria Rico, a Spanish guitarist and vocalist, transforms her lifes challenges into a musical triumph with her new band, Luna Marble, based in Manchester. Inspired by her childhood love for rock music and the vibrant music scene in Manchester, Rico combines Fleetwood Macs dreamy blues, Led Zeppelins raw edge, grunge vibes, and psychedelic touches in her powerful vocals, reminiscent of Grace Slick and Stevie Nicks.
After the financial crisis forced her family to move from Spain to Manchester, Rico found solace in music and connected with Romanian guitarist Dragos Colceriu. Their musical and romantic sparks flew as they jammed together, with Rico introducing Colceriu to classic rock and blues.
Luna Marbles self-titled debut album, recorded live in the studio, embraces a seventies vibe with no click tracks for that raw feel. The band, now independent, is pouring everything into their music, working eight hours a day after day jobs.
