Music Networking 101

For our tenth and very special episode of the podcast we were joined by iconic multi-platinum singer/songwriter and musician James Bourne of Busted and Son Of Dork. James dives into his journey in Busted, the transition over to Son Of Dork to then finding himself isolated in the pandemic and finally having time to set aside to launch his solo project. For our 9th panel we brought on Ande Hunter of the insanely cool band As December Falls to join us and discussed the ins and outs and ups and downs of being a DIY band, plus many pearls of wisdom were dropped on correctly marketing yourself as an artist. Joining him we also had Chris Bianchi of CB Entertainment and Legend Recordings who gave a whole lot of insight to the inner workings of the record label world and his career expansion from musician to industry insider!

For our 8th panel, we invited the founder and head honcho of the insanely stacked Summer music festival 'So What', Mike Ziemer, who wears many, many hats to join us. Joining him for this episode is musician/podcaster Sean Smith of The Blackout, Raiders and the brilliant Sappenin' podcast.

For our seventh panel, we're joined by creative mind, guitarist and songwriter of The Wonder Years, Casey Cavaliere. Casey talks to us about how TWY started out, some of his advice for newer artists in an ever-changing technological landscape and his new pandemic project and thriving podcast, The Record Process.

For our sixth panel, we're joined by the lively frontwoman of Myspace-era sensations Millionaires, Melissa Marie AND former guitarist/vocalist of As It Is and frontman of Bleak Soul, Ben Biss.

For our fifth panel, we're joined by the powerhouse frontman of the bands Zebrahead and Assuming We Survive, Adrian Estrella. Joining him is the touring guitarist of Point North, Mest and countless others, Niles Gibbs.
