In this episode, we discuss how he discovered A R I Z O N A, the A&R process for finding songwriters and producers to sign, the vetting process for potential collaborations with his artists, goal setting as a producer and/or songwriter, and more. Additionally, because Hallwood Media launched in the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, we discuss how that shaped the beginning of Hallwood Media’s strategy and what it may look like post-pandemic.

Fruchter is the founder of the indie Hip Hop label, Closed Sessions, and was recognized by the Chicago Tribune as a “Chicagoan of the Year” in 2016. He is a graduate of Indiana University, and currently lives in Humboldt Park.
