Kirk is the guitarist and saxophone player for one of the biggest bands of all time, INXS, while Layne conquered the waves as a seven-time champion professional surfer, the only woman to ever do so. But the couple was rocked earlier this year when Kirk was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer in February.
