Episode 35: The End is Neigh
This week’s edition of Moorlands Sport Extra is now out for you to listen to.
The football season might be coming to an end but, there is still a lot to discuss for all our local sides. Leek Town played Rushall Olympic in the Staffordshire FA Senior Cup final on Monday where they suffered a narrow defeat at Vale Park.
Leek Town are involved in the final day of the Northern Premier League fixtures as they host Skelmersdale United, we preview the game and all our other local fixtures on the final day of the 2022/23 Northern Premier League season.
Away from the F Ball Community Stadium, we look at Congleton Town as the Bears have reached two more cup finals, they face Bacup Borough in the Macron Cup and, Altrincham in the Cheshire Senior Cup.
Finally, we look at Port Vale’s decision to part company with manager Darrell Clarke following a poor run of results and, we look at who might replace Clarke in the dugout as the new manager of Port Vale FC.
