This week's edition of Moorlands Sport Extra in association with Leek Building Society is now available to listen to.
On the podcast this week, we look back on a Busy Bank Holiday Monday as we featured three matches on a special edition of the sport show.
Dave Lee was at the Red Industries Stadium as Newcastle Town took on Nantwich Town where two goals from Tom Pratt gave the Dabbers a 2-1 victory. After the match, Dave Lee caught up with the two managers- Paul Carden and Neil Baker.
Meanwhile, I was at the Cleric Stadium for Congleton Town vs. Kidsgrove Athletic where two goals from Max McCarthy won this game for the Bears. You can hear my post-match interview with Richard Duffy and Anthony Malbon from after the match.
Our featured game was Leek Town’s trip to Matlock Town in the NPL Premier. The Blues came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 to grab three important points after late defeats against Mickleover and Gainsborough Trinity. After the game, Josh Brehaut spoke to Moorlands Radio about the match.
Finally, James Marsh caught up with Justin Mould of Bagnell Norton Cricket Club following the impressive win over Leek in the North Staffs and South Cheshire Cricket League.
