On this week’s episode of Women in Gridiron we breakdown the blockbuster Opal Bowl game between Rebels and the Raiders. This will be the final episode as we round up this season. We congratulate our panelist Dani for winning the GNSW MVP.
In this week’s dose of the “Breakdown” we discuss the Opal Bowl final game between Rebels and Raiders. We discuss the game in depth and look at the key players to watch out for. The panelist discuss how depth in squad will be significant for the result of the game. Both teams have been amazing at their run games and also have been able to make a lot of passes throughout, as both teams are equally matched it will come down to who wants it more. A key match up to look out for will be the outback O line in Rebels vs the the outback D line in the Raiders. Some key players = to watch out for in this match would be Ely, Alisha, Amanda, Shayane & Kiara. Rebels have a strong defensive unit and have been undefeated through the season, the Raiders side will be looking to capitalise on their strength for run games. The panel gives their views about what does each team need to do to win and give their score predictions for the match. Whose side are you on in this blockbuster final of the season?
