What a TREAT to be joined by actor/writer/comedian Naomi Higgins this week!This week we watched "The Ministers" starring Harvey Keitel and John Leguizamo. This film tells the story of a lady cop who only goes to one restaurant and she spends her life trying to find the guy who killed her father ages ago when she was a child. John Leguizamo plays TWINS! Double Legz! You can tell the twins apart because one of them is a sweetie and the other one has a burn on his face and is evil.

This week we watched season 33, episode 10 of "American Masters" - something we both reckon we'd never have watched if not for this delightful podcast that we do each week. In this episode, "American Masters" focuses on iconic Puerto Rican actor Raul Julia - his career on stage and screen, but also his personal life behind the camera and the impact he had on Hollywood. John Leguizamo plays himself - he does a bit of Shakespeare at one point and speaks on how awesome Raul Julia is.

We've got podcast royalty in the studio with us this week! The hilarious comedian/podcaster/radio presenter Jess Perkins joins us for a chat about the 2016 crime drama "The Infiltrator" directed by fellow John Leguizamo appreciator Brad Furman. This is a movie about catching bad guys who love drugs and money but pretending to be a bad guy who loves drugs and money. John Leguizamo plays Emir Abreu - one of the blokes who is out to catch the baddies. He's phenomenal in this movie.

This week, we watched the second episode of "Waco: The Aftermath". We continue to learn about the the pre-Waco siege period to help us understand what ia going on in the post-Waco siege period. Lois is super horny for Vernon and together, they do private kisses. Vernon's influence and power within the cult is growing. Michael Shannon raids the home of a far-right white supremacy group.A skinny man named Tim decides to bring down the government along with his other skinny mates. Giodaddy Ribisi is confronted by mike Brady from The Brady Bunch movies while he is taking a piss and it's possible that he can help him with his case.John Leguizamo was in the opening credits. That's it.

So excited for this one! We loved watching "Waco" around 47 years ago (episode 9 of this silly podcast), so when we saw that in 2023 "Waco: The Aftermath" would be hitting out screens, we all thanked the Leguizamo Gods for looking down on us and saying "Ok, you pair of weirdos. Have a little treat.""WACO: The Aftermath" episode 1 is the first of 5 episodes in a series directed by Drew Dowdle and John Erick Dowdle. It tells the ongoing story of the chief negotiator of the original Waco siege, it follows the court case of a bunch of the members of the cult that got out alive and it also give a little prequel which gives us a tasty little insight into how the cult leader joined the cult and rose to the top. Basically, the aftermath. It's an honest series title. John Leguizamo plays the same bloke he played in 2018's "Waco" and he gets another really cool reveal.

"Fugly!" is a 2014 comedy written by Kathy Demarco and John Leguizamo. This movie is loosely based on many of John's life experiences. It tells the story of Jesse - a man so ugly that he has to rely on comedy to get through the increasingly difficult happenings of his life. Jesse makes the decision to take his own life, but not before he creates a video memoir recorded on his laptop. John plays Jesse. Jesse loves performing and having sex with women in public places.

This week, we've got the amazing comedian/writer Ashley Apap in the studio with us to talk about the 20th episode of the 3rd season of Disney's kid show "Elena of Avalor".This a cartoon about a princess and her free-loading blonde friend. There's a bunch of bad people who release a giant into the world... presumably to kill the princess... which is so dark. John Leguizamo plays Tziloco, a crystal bar that can make magic things happen and has glittery wings.
