COVID and the Fitness Industry

Season 1, Ep. 4

This is one of a series of episodes that will discuss the ever-changing fitness industry during COVID 19.

If you are wondering what's going to happen to your favorite gym, class or instructor - this is the show for you!

Ruben talks with Bobby Westside, one of NYC's most versatile trainer/fitness instructor (The Training Lab, Barry's, Flywheel) on surviving these first months of gym closures due to COVID.

Bobby was one of the first to leave New York when the pandemic hit and he discusses the pivots he's made - including building a personal brand before this all started – that have helped him survive and even thrive.  Ruben adds his perspective as a gym owner in NYC. Both discuss the future of fitness as they each see it – giving predictions and pointers on how to adapt and overcome.

Between the two of these industry pros the knowledge shared makes this crucial listen for those who value their fitness communities and are eager to know what they are facing and what they are working towards.
