Raising Titan - Featuring President Of Dad Bods Todd Abrams

I wasn’t brought up through conventional parenthood…

There were 10 kids in our family so we had to raise ourselves at a young age.

They also never told us what to do and rather let us grow and experience for ourselves hands-on.

It allowed us to become much more responsible, which I loved.

My dad was a Bodybuilder and a Football player and my mom was a martial artist and a lot of the commitment and consistency they put into those sports I paid close attention to.

Now I get to do the same to my son.

Just like how I paid close attention to the values and actions of my parents, my son will do the same, which means I must be my best every single day and keep striving to become better…

...and show him he can do the same.

It is my duty to help my son understand he has 2 choices ahead of him…

He can take what life gives him and accept it, living a life of regret…

Or he can decide to not react and instead act by building his life to suit his vision and ultimately find fulfillment.

Life is a buffet and it must all be tasted, I will encourage Titan at a young age to dip his fingers and toes into everything possible…

...how else will he find what his true passion in life is?

Eventually, something will be found that resonates within.

Once that passion is found, combined with the mindset I have displayed during fatherhood, he will learn the art of setting goals and doing everything in his power to achieve them, wholeheartedly regardless of anything.

That is how I view my journey as a father, this is my goal I’m sharing with you.

I invited over my good friend Todd Abrams CEO of DadBod. It’s allowed me to expand and broaden my horizons. This was a great interview where we talk about fatherhood and crushing mediocrity by daring to think differently.

Don’t Lighten up, TITAN UP!
