This morning Tommy’s guest is Patrick Byrne who lived with his father, mother and brother in Derryronane – a small village four miles from Swinford. He now lives in Swinford town. Patrick and his only brother John were both born with a rare gene called Byrate Atrophy which affected their eyesight with John losing his sight at the age of 14.


Patrick – despite his visual impairment – lived an interesting life and proves that regardless of the challenge - anything is possible……
