"I was hitchhiking and Jim Fahy drove me from Galway to Knock" - The Tommy Marren Show

The year was 1990, a listener recalls standing at the side of the road to hitch a lift to Knock and who pulls over only the late RTE Broadcaster Jim Fahy. Jim was only travelling as far as Tuam but due to adverse weather conditions he decided to go the extra MILES and drop this hitchhiker all the way to his front door in Knock, Co.Mayo.
