    Eoghan Jennings from Westport Tennis Club has secured a place in the qualifying draw for the Australian Open Junior Grand Slam taking place this week.  This extraordinary achievement marks an exciting milestone in Eoghan’s career and is the culmination of a hugely successful 12 months competing on the international circuit across Ireland, Norway, South Africa, the Cayman Islands, Guatemala, Miami and Bolivia. Eoghan is currently no 127 in the World Junior Ranking and is the first in Connaught to represent Ireland in the Australian Open Junior Grand Slam qualifiers. It is also the first time since 2022 that there will be junior Irish representation at the event.
