Learn to Learn Podcast with DC Glen
•
My guest today, DC Glenn, is an American film actor and voice-over artist residing in Atlanta, GA. He is also known as one half of the 90’s rap group Tag Team who created the classic stadium anthem “Whoomp! There It Is." And is also featured in the SAG national GEICO commercial "Scoop! There It Is."
DC has been training painstakingly for film, tv, and commercial acting since 2017. DC has also enjoyed training vigorously for years, seeking mastery in the arts of voiceover. I hope this podcast has given my listeners a master’s degree in a hustle.
In this podcast,
- DC shares his experiences to give back to the younger generation by explaining all the struggles he went through, so people do not need to repeat themselves. But this isn't just for the music industry; it also applies in life. This master class of Hustle allowed DC to work smarter, not harder. He’s always planting those tiny seeds of knowledge, opportunities, and connections, enabling him to create and grow.
- DC is constantly learning from people. DC learned that the only way you are going to learn is by listening!
- DC used his past experiences, which to some people, were a weakness, and he utilizes those to his advantage.
“I can't prepare for everything, but I can't prepare for every opportunity.” - DC Glenn.
