SOUTHRIDGE CHURCH with Micaiah Irmler
A Parents Prayer
What are we forming in the next generation?
In Judges 13, Manoah asks God a simple but powerful question: “Teach us what we shall do for the child who will be born.”
In this message, Pastor Micaiah challenges parents, grandparents, mentors, and anyone who has influence over the next generation to stop simply hoping they'll “figure it out” and start intentionally forming them.
We don't just raise children—we raise them to be released into a future we cannot see.
Pastor Micaiah shares practical ways we can form the next generation:
• Protect what makes them distinct
• Teach them discipline
• Give them discernment
• Involve them in the work
• Instruct them in the Word
• Imprint on them how to worship
And through the story of Samson—and a powerful personal story— we're reminded that the last chapter isn't necessarily the final chapter.
Your story isn't over. Their story isn't over. And God is still working.

244. House Rules
47:49||Season 2026, Ep. 244What happens in your home matters. In the final message of our Home Field Advantage series, we look at Joshua 24:15 and the powerful declaration: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” We may not be able to control the culture around us, but we can choose the culture we create inside our homes. The values we celebrate, the things we tolerate, the way we treat one another, and the faith we model all shape the next generation. The goal isn't to raise perfect kids. It's to build homes where Jesus is known, faith is lived out, and God's goodness is remembered from generation to generation. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15
242. Raising a Remnant
01:01:00||Season 2026, Ep. 242What does it look like to raise a generation that will stand for Jesus, even when we aren't standing beside them?In Part 2 of our Home Field Advantage series, Pastor Micaiah takes us to Daniel 1 and challenges parents, grandparents, students, and the Church to recognize the responsibility we have to intentionally disciple the next generation.Daniel was taken into Babylon, surrounded by a culture that wanted to change what he served, what he thought, and who he was. But Daniel had already been formed before he ever entered Babylon. The same is true for our families. We may not be able to predict everything our children will face, but we can build a foundation that prepares them to stand when we're no longer standing beside them.We are called to raise a remnant before culture raises a replacement.
241. The Parental Advantage
53:28||Season 2026, Ep. 241What if your home is one of the greatest advantages God has given you?In this message, Pastor Micaiah kicks off our new series, Home Field Advantage, with a powerful challenge for parents, families, and anyone who wants to build a home centered on Jesus.Using the story of Jacob in Genesis 32, we’re reminded that we may not be able to control who our children become, but we can choose what kind of parents we become. Our homes have influence—and we have the opportunity to intentionally build a foundation of faith, prayer, biblical truth, boundaries, and family.Pastor Micaiah challenges us to stop giving away the influence God has entrusted to us and to recognize that parenting is deeply spiritual. When we're less intentional, we're less influential. And sometimes loving our family means more than comforting them—it means being willing to correct, shape, and guide them. The story of Jacob also reveals what happens when we stop trying to control everything and learn to cling to God. Jacob entered the night wrestling, but he came out changed. His greatest victory wasn't gaining more control—it was learning to depend on God.Whether you're a parent, grandparent, single, married, or simply part of a family, this message is a reminder that your faith can make it past the front door.Key Scriptures: Genesis 32:22–30; Proverbs 22:6; Romans 8:28–29Watch the full message and discover how you can build a home where faith isn't just something you talk about at church—it becomes the foundation of everyday life.
240. More Than A Miracle - Micah Rose
56:06||Season 2026, Ep. 240What if God never performed another miracle for you—would He still be worth following? In this message, Micah challenges us to look beyond what God can do and discover who God is. Through the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000, the healing of the man born blind, and personal stories of God's supernatural power, we are reminded that miracles are never meant to be the destination. They are signposts pointing us toward Jesus. It's easy to become more fascinated by God's blessings than by God Himself. We can pray passionately when we're desperate, only to lose that same hunger when the breakthrough comes. But spiritual maturity isn't measured by how much we receive from God—it's revealed by how much we long for God Himself.Micah shares three truths about God's signs:Signs point to Jesus.Signs lead us to worship.Signs reveal the Father's heart. The greatest gift God can give us isn't healing, provision, breakthrough, or success. The greatest gift God can give us is Himself.Don't set up camp at the miracle. Don't stop at the signpost. Keep moving toward Jesus.
239. Out Of Order
42:18||Season 2026, Ep. 239In this message from our series The Blessed Life, Pastor Micaiah unpacks Psalm 1 and reveals that a blessed life isn’t simply about what we obtain. It’s about getting our lives into the order God designed.God is a God of order. When we put Him first, get planted, stay connected to the Source, and allow Him to shape our lives, we position ourselves to experience the fruit and purpose He has for us.You were never meant to just be potted, you were meant to be planted.Being planted means going deeper. It means moving from simply attending church to belonging, serving, building relationships, taking responsibility, and becoming who God created you to be.“Fix the flow, and God fixes the fruit.”No matter what season you are in, God can make you fruitful. When the storm comes, you can still stand when your roots are deep and your life is connected to the Source. This week, ask yourself:What is out of order in my life?Am I planted or just potted?Am I connected to the Source? What is my next step?Get the order right and let God handle the outcome.
238. The Blessings Didn't Burn
45:50||Season 2026, Ep. 238In this message from our series The Blessed Life, we look at the story of David in 1 Samuel 30. David returns to Ziklag only to find that everything he had built has been burned and his family has been taken captive. By every outward appearance, it looks like everything is lost. But the fire wasn't the end of David's story.David had been running, avoiding, and holding onto things that God never called him to hold onto. Yet when everything around him fell apart, David did something different: he strengthened himself in the Lord and sought God.This message challenges us to consider what we're holding onto, where we're finding our strength, and whether we're willing to surrender the things that may be keeping us from what God has next. The fire didn't destroy David's destiny. It destroyed what was distracting him from it.Maybe there's a "Ziklag" in your life that God is asking you to release. Maybe you're walking through a fire and wondering what God is doing. Either way, this message reminds us that when everything becomes uncertain, God remains certain. If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who may need this reminder today.
237. Blessed Are
50:38||Season 2026, Ep. 237In week two of The Blessed Life series, we dive into Jesus’ famous Sermon on the Mount and explore the first three Beatitudes found in Matthew 5:1-5. While the world often defines blessing through success, comfort, and status, Jesus completely redefines what it means to be blessed.Jesus begins His teaching not with a list of things to accomplish, but with a declaration of what is true: “Blessed are…” The Beatitudes are not a checklist we use to earn God’s love—they are the evidence of a heart that has already been transformed by Him.In this message, we explore:What it means to be “poor in spirit” and recognize our complete dependence on GodWhy mourning over our sin and a broken world leads us to true comfort through the Holy SpiritHow biblical meekness is not weakness, but strength surrendered to GodWhy the greatest blessing is not what God gives us, but being found and saved in HimThe blessed life is not a life without hardship. It is a life where the King Himself is our portion.
236. Blessed Even There
31:12||Season 2026, Ep. 236What does it really mean to live a blessed life?In the first message of our new series, The Blessed Life, Pastor Micaiah challenges the common idea that God's blessing is measured by comfort, success, or possessions. Through Psalm 139, we're reminded that true blessing isn't found in perfect circumstances—it's found in God's presence.Whether you're on the mountaintop or walking through one of life's hardest seasons, God is an "even there" God. He isn't surprised by your struggles, scared of your circumstances, or absent from your pain. The blessed life is discovered when we stop chasing blessings and start pursuing the One who blesses. If you're wondering where God is in the middle of your "there," this message is a powerful reminder that He is with you, leading you, holding you, and working through every season
