Another Apex show is in the back window and honestly the aftermath is a bit more interesting than the card. The card was fun mind you, good action, some insightful fights but also some frustration. I don't cover the roster moves in the audio but Jailton Almedia and Javid Basharat seemed to no longer be on the UFC roster. Javid is particularly a weird cut.Also I do mess up saying Yan when I mean Joshua Van. The First Apex Excursion is upon us and the UFC has by Apex standards a really sold card. I do question the wisdom of using the Apex as the sight for their 3rd paramount card but we'll see.Good main event with high action upside, some confusing booking for Kyoji Horiguchi and Rizvan Kuniev and there are a pair of dead fights in my opinion. A subdued recap today as UFC 325 while not bad lacked the spice that gets me jazzed. Probably because the main event was something I called from a mile away. UFC 323 crowned 2 new champions, 1 in outstanding and shocking fashion while the other was more Vitor Belfort at 205 style where the fight ended in fluke injury but hey a win is a win and it freshens up a division that was largely clear out (including this weekend's main event).We also have the final show of the year from the UFC from the Apex which seriously is bad scheduling but it's not a bad card, relevant and well timed main event, couple of action fights and some interesting rankings impacting fights.Let's break it down.
