TAKING the advice of her partner, David, Mary leaves him behind in Hong Kong and follows her bike to America. She rides it across the USA to Georgia and then puts it on a ship to Felixstowe.Mary's story remained largely unknown to the public until 2021 when she was invited to appear at The OVERLAND Event, a festival for adventure motorcyclists. MARY continues to ride south through Africa, all the way to Cape Town. She then heads from South Africa to Australia on a cargo ship with a pair of very unpleasant fellow passengers.

AFTER surviving her fall in Turkey, intrepid Mary crosses Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan and arrives in India. Here, she decides to continue her journey, taking a ship to Africa and heading south.
