In this week's episode, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan interview Vicky Palmerton, an individual who has been active in the recall petition against former Commissioners 🤮 and Barnett, and is an admin on the local Rogue Indivisible Facebook group.After this episode, we are going to have a little bit of a break, but we will be back in a week or two.

In this week's episode our Socialists take a look at a brief video posted by our homophobic representative, Dwayne Yunker, listing legislation that will be debated on this month in the Oregon Government. Then Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan have some fun (we use that term loosely) poking at a more recent video by the Josephine County Republican. After that they watch a few video clips from the news about ICE using tear gas and flash bangs in Portland on peaceful protesters.Also, Mr. Morgan announces that he will be out the week when we would record for our episode to be released on the 23rd, so we will have an episode next week, but not the week after that one.

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan quickly go over "Commander" Chris' resignation... video? Wait really, that pompous chode did a resignation video? Well shit, it looks like he did... So, our Socialists review that brief video, then go over some video of a really awesome ICE protest that happened in Grants Pass. Finally our Socialists get into an older-ish news story (about a month old now) involving corruption and incompetence with the Grants Pass City Council.Will the be the start of a new era? Probably not... but at least we'll be there just as frustrated as everyone else with more than two brain cells to rub together.

This week our Socialist have a new topic, totally unrelated to the drama with the County Commissioners, to talk about...Just kidding. Unfortunately there is still plenty of drama as Barnett's lackeys continue to push propaganda to try to convince the local populace that the recall petition was based on lies, that Commissioner Smith's recalling himself was not legitimate, and the idea that Barnett still can be involved in the process to appoint a replacement for 🤮. Then there's the waste of time and money "Commander" Chris has been perpetuating by having continued meetings wherein nothing can occur all for the sake of appeasing his frail ego.

In this week's episode Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan go over the first evening Josephine County Commissioner Business meeting in OVER. A. YEAR. There were lots of commenter in this meeting, and we mean a-LOT. Despite cutting what we thought would be really redundant comments, our two Socialists still had nearly an hour of video to go over, and a little over a third of it is former Commissioner, "Commander" Chris, being a whiney little chode.

In this episode, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan partake in libations in celebration of the successful vote to recall "Commander" Chris from the position of Commissioner. Our socialists will go over the County Commissioner Weekly Business meeting, an Administrative Workshop, and another Fireside Chat with Chris Barnett, all from January 7th. Mr. Kieffer offers the most humble of apologies for the audio jumping in a few places in this episode. It seems the consumption of alcohol inhibits his ability to properly operate the recording software, and he might have messed up a couple of times throughout the episode.

In today's episode our Socialists are ditching any local topics to discuss something on the national level. This is in part because the recall election will be over the day after this episode airs, and our Socialists do not want to provide any last minute speculation or do a last minute, "VOTE! VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!" push."So what kind of national topic might be covered," you ask. Well... Mr. Kieffer may have gotten his hands on a digital copy of a very recent 60 Minutes segment that is banned in the US, and our two Socialists juuuuuuuuuust might be watching that segment.This is one of our shortest full episodes, at just over 30 minutes long, and fair warning... the topic is exceptionally depressing and potentially rage inducing.

In their follow up episode for the week, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan interviewed a local journalist and owner of the Grants Pass Tribune, John Oliver Rico. Our socialists start with some questions to get a feel for who John is. After getting some background they turn their questions to some more recent drama with "Commander" Chris.Mr. Kieffer offers his apologies. In editing some of his coughs out of the audio he accidentally deleted a small portion of the interview around 11:15 into the episode. He humbly begs for forgiveness from you, the listener. Our socialists are back and have a lot to go over from the past two weeks. There is so much to go over, in fact, that Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan have split this week's episode into two parts. The first, longer part, airing today... and the follow up (which will be an interview) airing on Wednesday.In this part of this week's podcast, Mr. Kieffer and Mr. Morgan go through some videos of "Commander" Chris trying to control the narrative, an apparent lackey of his pushing some of Chris' propaganda, and a Commissioner meeting where our socialists get to see Wally Hicks for the first time, and Wally politely ends up telling Chris to shut his damn trap about legal litigation before Chris puts his own foot in it.Also a friendly reminder, if you're a Josephine county resident and registered voter, please make sure you have voted in the recall of Commissioner Chris... and turned in your ballot.
